Curried Red Lentil & Bacon Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 pkt
    MAGGI Creme of Chicken Soup Mix
  • 1½ tsp
    curry powder
  • 1 L
    water
  • 1 x
    400g can chopped tomatoes
  • 300 g
    smoked bacon bones
  • 2 x
    carrots, chopped
  • 1 cup
    dried red lentils

How to Cook

Prep Time: 10 minutes | Cooking Time: 480 minutes
  1. Turn the slow cooker on to preheat while preparing the ingredients.

  2. Combine Creme of Chicken Soup Mix with boiling water and chopped tomatoes. Add to the slow cooker bowl with bacon bones, carrots and lentils.

  3. Cook on low for 6-8 hours and serve with fresh bread if desired.
