Stuffed Baked Potatoes


  • 4 (800g)
    large potatoes, scrubbed
  • 1 pkt
  • 1/2 cup (125mL)
    boiling water
  • 1 tbsp
    fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 can (300g)
    whole kernel corn, drained
  • 2 rashers
    bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 1/2 cup (50g)
    cheese, grated

How to Cook

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Cooking Time: 75 minutes
  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.

  2. Bake the potatoes on an oven rack for about 1 hour or until tender when the sides are squeezed. (Hold the potatoes in a cloth so you don’t get burnt.) Leave for a few minutes to cool.

  3. Put the MAGGI Tasty Cheese Sauce Mix in a bowl. Add the boiling water. Whisk with a fork until thick and smooth. Stir in chives.

  4. Cut the potatoes in half. Using a teaspoon, scoop out the inside and put in a bowl.

  5. Add the sauce mixture. Mash with a fork until smooth. Stir in the corn and bacon. Pile the mixture back into the skins.

  6. Put the potatoes in a shallow baking dish. Sprinkle the grated cheese over the top.

  7. Return to the oven. Bake at 200°C for 15 minutes or until the potatoes are golden brown. Serve with salad or green vegetables
