Macaroni Cheese with Prosciutto


  • 375g
    dried macaroni
  • 2 pkts
  • 1 cup (250mL)
  • 1 cup (250mL)
    trim milk
  • 2 tbsp
    fresh basil, finely chopped
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • 8 slices
    prosciutto or bacon
  • 1/2 cup (40g)
    parmesan cheese, finely grated

How to Cook

Prep Time: 10 minutes | Cooking Time: 18 minutes
  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.

  2. Cook macaroni according to directions on packet. While macaroni is cooking, prepare 2 packets of MAGGI Tasty Cheese Sauce Mix following packet directions. Stir in basil, pepper and drained pasta into sauce.

  3. Place 3 slices of prosciutto in a single layer on bottom of an ovenproof dish. Spread half the macaroni cheese over prosciutto. Top with another 3 slices of prosciutto and cover with remaining macaroni cheese. Chop remaining prosciutto and sprinkle over top with parmesan cheese.

  4. Cook in preheated oven for 15 minutes, then grill for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown. To make individual servings, divide mixture between 6 bowls. You may need to slice each piece of prosciutto in half.
