Slow-Cooked Red Wine Lamb Chops


  • 500g
    lamb chops, bone in
  • 1 cup
    red wine
  • 1 pkt
  • 1
    onion, wedged
  • 1 tsp
    wholegrain mustard
  • 1 tsp
    dried thyme
  • 2 cloves
    garlic, crushed
  • 1 tbsp
    cornflour or arrowroot (optional)

How to Cook

Prep Time: 10 minutes | Cooking Time: 480 minutes
  1. Set the slow cooker to low.

  2. Combine all ingredients except cornflour, and add to the slow cooker bowl.

  3. Cook on low for 8 hours.

  4. For a thicker sauce, 30 minutes before serving ladle ΒΌ cup of the sauce into a small bowl and whisk the cornflour or arrowroot into it with a fork. Return mixture to the slow cooker bowl, stir through and leave for a further 30 minutes.

  5. Serve with mash and vegetables of your choice.
