Slow-Cooked Italian Lamb Stew


  • 1 kg
    lamb neck chops
  • 1/4 cup
  • 2 tsp
    canola oil or cooking spray
  • 1 pkt
    MAGGI BBQ Sausages Recipe Mix
  • 1 can (400g)
    chopped tomatoes
  • 2 cloves
    garlic, crushed
  • 1 sprig
  • 2 sticks
    celery, cut into 5cm lengths
  • 2
    carrots, halved lengthwise, then cut into 5cm lengths
  • 1
    onion, cut into wedges

How to Cook

Prep Time: 10 minutes | Cooking Time: 480 minutes
  1. Set the slow cooker to low.

  2. Toss neck chops in flour. Heat oil in a large frying pan and brown the lamb.

  3. Remove meat from pan and set aside.

  4. Combine Recipe Mix with tomatoes, garlic and thyme.

  5. Add to the slow cooker bowl with neck chops and prepared vegetables.

  6. Cook on low for 8 hours. Serve with mash and green vegetables.
