Thai-Style Chicken Patties in Pita Bread


  • 500 g
    lean minced chicken
  • 1 clove
    garlic, crushed
  • 1 tsp
    finely grated lemon zest
  • 1 tsp
    sweet chilli sauce
  • 1 tsp
    Thai fish sauce
  • 2 tbsp
    chopped fresh coriander leaves or parsley
  • 1 tsp
    MAGGI Chicken Stock Powder
  • 2 tsp
    olive oil or cooking spray
  • 8
    pita breads cut in half
  • baby salad leaves
  • sweet chilli sauce, extra

How to Cook

Prep Time: 20 minutes | Cooking Time: 12 minutes

  2. Combine all the patty ingredients except the oil in a bowl and mix thoroughly. Shape into 24 small patties.

  3. Heat the oil in a frying pan. Add the patties and cook over a moderate heat for 2-3 minutes. Turn and cook for a further 2-3 minutes or until the patties are golden brown and cooked through.

  4. TO SERVE:

  5. Place salad leaves in each pita pocket, then add three patties.

  6. Top with extra sweet chilli sauce before serving.
