Slow-Cooked Butter Chicken with Pumpkin & Toasted Almonds

Ingredients

  • cooking spray or canola oil
  • 1 pkt
    MAGGI Butter Chicken Recipe Mix
  • 1 x
    can 400g chopped tomatoes
  • ¼ cup
    tomato paste
  • 2 cloves
    garlic, chopped
  • 400 g
    skinless chicken breast fillet, quartered
  • 250 g
    pumpkin, cubed
  • 1 x
    onion, sliced
  • ¼ cup
    fresh cream
  • 2 tbsp
    sliced toasted almonds
  • 1 tbsp
    fresh coriander leaves

How to Cook

Prep Time: 10 minutes | Cooking Time: 480 minutes
  1. Lightly spray bowl of the slow cooker with cooking spray or brush with canola oil. Set the slow cooker to low.

  2. Combine MAGGI Butter Chicken Recipe Mix with chopped tomatoes, tomato paste and garlic.

  3. Add to the slow cooker bowl with chicken, pumpkin and onion.

  4. Cook on low for 6-8 hours.

  5. Minutes before serving, gently stir cream through.

  6. Serve with rice, and scatter toasted almonds and coriander leaves on top.
