Roast Chicken

    potatoes, washed and halved
  • 20g
    butter, melted
  • a pinch

How to Cook

Prep Time: 50 minutes | Cooking Time: 110 minutes
  1. Preheat oven to 160 degrees celsius

  2. Start with a quality, fresh chicken. Remove from fridge, wash with cold water and pat dry. Allow to stand for 30 minutes.

  3. Place potatoes in the base of a large baking tray. Lay chicken on top and sprinkle with a pinch of sea salt and brush with melted butter.

  4. Place chicken in preheated oven for 90 minutes.

  5. Remove from oven and allow to stand for 15 minutes, increase oven temperature to 250 degrees. Return to oven for 10 minutes at higher temperature

  6. Allow chicken to rest for 10 minutes before carving.
