Slow-Cooked Beef & Ale Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 pkt
    MAGGI BBQ Sausages Recipe Mix
  • 1 cup (250mL)
    beer
  • 400 g
    blade or gravy beef, trimmed of fat and cut into 2cm cubes
  • ┬╝ cup (45g)
    prunes, stones removed, chopped
  • 250 g
    button mushrooms, quartered
  • 1 (150g)
    onion, wedged
  • 2 sticks (120g)
    celery, chopped

How to Cook

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Cooking Time: 600 minutes
  1. Set the slow cooker to low.

  2. Combine Sausages Recipe Mix with beer.

  3. Add to the slow cooker with beef, prunes and prepared vegetables.

  4. Cook on low for 8-10 hours.

  5. Serve with creamy mash and green vegetables.
