500gLean, diced Lamb
1 large (200g)Onion, chopped
1 med (120g)Carrot, sliced
1/2 cup (60g)Peas
1 1/2 cups (120g)mushrooms quartered
How to Make
Serves: | Preparation time: 10 Minutes | Cooking time: 45 Minutes
Heat 1 tbsp oil in pan, brown lamb, add onion and carrots, cook 2 minutes.
Add combined 1 ¼ cups (310mL) water, and MAGGI Recipe Base, bring to boil, stirring.
Cover and simmer 30 minutes or until lamb is tender, stir occasionally. Add peas, simmer 2 minutes.

Preheat oven to 200ºC.
Place lamb, onion and carrots in ovenproof dish.
Stir in combined 1 cup (250mL) water and MAGGI Lamb Ragout Recipe Mix, cover.
Bake 1½ hours or until lamb is tender. Stir twice during cooking, and add in peas during the second stirring.

Place lamb in slow cooker with onion, carrot and mushrooms. Stir in combined 1 cup (250mL) water and Recipe Base
Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours. Stir through peas 10 minutes before serving.
Cooking time and results may vary between slow cooker models. This recipe base performs well in slow cookers with a capacity under 5L. When using slow cookers with a 5L or larger capacity, please double the quantity of all ingredients (including recipe base) for best results.
