Just Add

  • 500g
    Lean Rump Steak, cubed
  • 1 x large (200g)
    onion, cut into 8 wedges
  • 2 cups (140g)
    Halved mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp
    Tomato paste
  • 1 pkt

How to Make

Serves: 4 | Preparation time: 10 Minutes | Cooking time: 90 Minutes

  1. Place blade steak, onion and mushrooms in oven proof dish.

  2. Add combined tomato paste and 1 cup (250mL) water and MAGGI recipe base.

  3. Cover and cook at 200°C/ 180°C fan forced for 1 ½ hours or until steak is tender, stirring twice during cooking.

  4. Serve with steamed green vegetables.

Serves: 4 | Preparation time: 10 Minutes | Cooking time: 480 Minutes

  1. Place blade steak, onion and mushrooms in slow cooker.

  2. add combined tomato paste, 3/4 cup (190mL) water and MAGGI Recipe Base.

  3. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours. Cooking time and results may vary between slow cooker models. This recipe base performs well in slow cookers with a capacity under 5L. When using slow cookers with a 5L or larger capacity, please double the quantity of all ingredients (including recipe base) for best results.

  4. Serve with steamed green vegetables.

  1. Heat 1 tbsp oil in pan, brown beef, add onion and mushrooms.

  2. Add combined tomato paste and 1¼ cups (310mL) water and MAGGI Recipe Base, bring to boil, stirring.

  3. Cover and simmer 30 minutes or until steak is tender, stir occasionally.

  4. Serve with steamed green vegetables.
