Preparation

Prep Time: 10 mins | Cook Time: 10 mins | Serves: 4

SIMPLY ADD

  • 500g beef steak cut of choice, sliced thinly (we recommend rump steak)
  • 1 onion (200g), sliced thinly
  • 8 mini tortillas, warmed

Salsa

  • 2 tomatoes (300g), diced finely
  • 125g can corn kernels, drained
  • 125g can black beans, drained
  • 1 medium avocado (250g), diced

GET COOKING

  1. In a medium bowl, combine beef, 1 tbsp of oil and MAGGI Recipe Base; set aside.
  2. To make salsa, combine tomatoes, corn, black beans and avocado; set aside.
  3. In a large frying pan on high heat, add ½ tbsp oil and onion, cook for 4–5 minutes until onions are golden brown. Remove from heat and set aside; keep warm.
  4. To the same pan on high heat, add beef mixture and cook for 4–5 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  5. To assemble taco place tortilla on serving plate, add onion and beef, top with salsa. Add sour cream and lime wedge if desired. Enjoy!
