Preparation
SPICY CHILLI CON CARNE
Serves: 4 | Preparation time: 10 Minutes | Cooking time: 20 Minutes
SIMPLY ADD:
- 500g lean minced beef
- 1 large (200g) onion, chopped
- 400g can chopped tomatoes
- 400g can red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 2 cups (380g) rice, cooked
GET COOKING
- Heat 1 tbsp oil in pan, brown beef, add onion, cook 2 minutes.
- Add tomatoes, beans, and combined ½ cup (125mL) water and MAGGI 3 ways - Spicy Mexican. Bring to the boil, stirring.
- Cover and simmer 10 minutes; stir occasionally. Serve with rice.
SIZZLING STEAK FAJITAS
Serves: 4 | Preparation time: 10 Minutes | Cooking time: 20 Minutes
SIMPLY ADD:
- 1 medium onion (150g), sliced
- 1 medium (200g) red capsicum, sliced
- 500g lean rump steak, sliced
- 150g iceberg lettuce, sliced thinly
- 8 tortillas, warmed
GET COOKING
- In a large frying pan over high heat, add 1 tsp vegetable oil. Add onion and capsicum, cook for 8 minutes or until browned. Remove onto a plate and keep warm.
- Using same frying pan, add 1 tsp vegetable oil, over high heat, add steak and MAGGI 3 ways - Spicy Mexican, cook for 5 minutes or until steak is tender; add reserved vegetables, cook for 2 minutes or until heated through.
- Serve with lettuce and tortillas.
VEGETARIAN BURRITO BOWL
Serves: 4 | Preparation time: 10 Minutes | Cooking time: 10 Minutes
SIMPLY ADD:
- 1 medium (150g) onion, sliced
- 1 medium (200g) red capsicum, sliced
- 400g can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 2 cups (380g) rice, cooked
- 1 medium avocado, diced
- 250g cherry tomatoes, halved
- 100g tortilla chips
- 120g reduced fat Greek yoghurt
- 1 bunch coriander, leaves picked
- 1 lime, sliced
GET COOKING
- Heat 1 tsp vegetable oil in a large frying pan. Add onion and capsicum; cook for 5 minutes or until softened. Add MAGGI 3 ways - Spicy Mexican and black beans, reduce heat and cook, stirring until heated through. Keep warm.
- In 4 bowls, evenly divide rice, avocado, tomatoes, tortilla chips and reserved vegetable mix. Top with Greek yoghurt, coriander and lime slices. Serve.
