Feature MAGGI Beef Stroganoff at your next Family dinner. MAGGI Recipe Bases make it easy to create healthy, balanced meals that taste great for you and your family. Just add – beef strips, onion, sliced mushrooms and sour cream.

Just add:
  • 500g Stir fry beef strips or Lean rump steak, cut into thin strips
  • 1 x large (200g) Onion, Sliced
  • 2 cups (140g) 410g sliced mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 pkt MAGGI Beef Stroganoff Recipe Base

STOCK POWDER: Corn Starch, Vegetable Fat (Vegetable Fat, Rosemary Extract, Sunflower Lecithin), Potato Starch, Iodised Salt, Flavours, Sugar, Yeast Extract (Yeast Extract, Salt), Garlic, Soy Sauce (derived from Wheat), Burnt Sugar; VEGETABLES: Pea Flour, Onion, Tomato; SKIM MILK; HERB: Parsley, FOOD ACID: Citric.

Contains soy and milk.
May contain fish, crustacean, sesame, celery and mustard.

Our soy sauce uses wheat as an ingredient during its manufacturing process (hence why it says “derived from wheat”). However, the wheat is so refined by the end of the manufacturing process there is no detectable gluten protein present in the soy sauce and products it is used in can declared gluten free. In addition, in order to claim gluten free all of our ingredients are carefully selected, and every batch of our product undergoes testing to ensure there is no detectable gluten in the product.

Stove top:

Serves: 4 | Preparation time: 10 Minutes | Cooking time: 20 Minutes

  1. Heat 1 tbsp oil in frying pan, brown beef, add onions and mushrooms, cook 2 minutes.
  2. Add combined 1 1/3 cup (330L) water and MAGGI Recipe Base, bring to boil, stirring.
  3. Cover and simmer 20 minutes or until beef is tender, stir through sour cream. Serve.


Serves: 4 | Preparation time: 10 Minutes | Cooking time: 45 Minutes

  1. Preheat oven to 200ºC/180°C fan forced.
  2. Place steak, onion and mushrooms in ovenproof dish.
  3. Stir in combined ¾ cup (190mL) water and MAGGI Beef Stroganoff Recipe Base, cover.
  4. Bake 45 minutes or until beef is tender, stir once during cooking.
  5. Stir in sour cream and serve.
