Satay mince and pasta


  • Yummy Satay Mince Pasta
  • A quick & easy dish to serve 4 hungry people.
  • Ingredients:
  • • 2 tablespoons of peanut butter
  • • 500g of Beef mince
  • • Maggi Satay Chicken sachet
  • • Half an onion
  • • 2 teaspoons of Olive Oil
  • • A pinch of mixed herbs
  • • ½ packet of spiral pasta
  • • A pinch of Rosemary
  • • ¾ of a cup of milk
  • • 1 egg
  • • Flat leaf parsley
  • First:
  • Chop the onion into finely diced squares. In a bowl together the beef mince and onion. Add in 1 egg, the mixed herbs and rosemary, combine well.
  • Next:
  • Fill a pot ¾ with hot water into a pot and boil. Tip the spiral pasta into the pot, let it boil until it is el dente. When cooked drain, keep it warm by putting the pot lid over it.
  • Then:
  • Get a pan and heat 2 tea spoons of olive oil. Carefully place ½ of the beef mince in and then cook till it is brown and crispy. When it is done put it into a bowl to keep it warm with a plate covering it. Cook the second ½ of mince.
  • After:
  • Get a measuring bowl and put the satay chicken sauce sachet ¾ of a cup milk and 2 table spoons of peanut butter in, mix well. Pour it all into a pot. Heat until simmering and stir until it gets thick.
  • Finally:
  • Get a plate put a layer of cooked pasta on the bottom. Add the mince on top of the pasta. Drizzle with the sauce and finally sprinkle with chopped parsley.
